sweetness. Houston Newborn Photographer

Oh, the sweetness. This little one was just adorable and such a perfect addition to a wonderful family. His dimples could melt any heart and his fuzzy hair is just as cute as can be.

You may remember mom’s maternity session from back in early June. It was apparent then just as it is now, the excitement this family has for this new bundle of joy. They are amazing to be around and so much fun to shoot! I can’t wait to do it again! Check back soon for more updates!

baby g, again. Houston Baby Photographer

I fell in love back in February with baby g. I didn’t think it was possible for him to get any more adorable, but I was wrong. Here he is, 5 months old and just as cute as can be.

Look at those beautiful brown eyes.

And he was so easy going, it really made for one of the easiest sessions ever.

And then, just like that, he was asleep.

And just as sweet and curly as a newborn. Oh I wish I had an image like this of my own kiddo hanging big in my living room.

Thank you so much R and K for allowing me to capture these special moments once again! I had a wonderful time with you all this weekend, I can’t wait to do it again!

Baby R

So I made a special trip to San Antonio last month to meet J and her precious baby R and her big sis for a newborn session. The session was a gift from J’s friend and fellow photographer, Deanna Hall.

We had such a lovely time together! I enjoyed shooting this family a whole lot and the girls were just as cute as can be!

sweet baby s.

Newborns are my favorite thing to photograph. There is just something sooooo special about a new baby and a new family. To see the complete and unconditional love both parents have for someone they’ve just met, but have known forever. Absolutely amazing.

And who could resist this precious face?

Or this teeny tiny bottom and itsy bitsy toes? ?

Simply adorable.

Sneak Peek – The L family

Sunday afternoon, I met the most fun and loving couple. It was easy to tell how excited they are about the arrival of their baby girl. Such a beautiful day to do a beautiful session!!!

Sneak Peek- The C Family

I had so much fun this past weekend with shooting my first wedding (pics to come soon!) and hanging out with the C family in Hermann Park!

The C family was such a joy to work with! I loved how sweet the older siblings were to the their youngest brother and I loved chasing baby W around the park! It was so much fun and such a wonderful day for pictures.

baby b.

Phew! I have never been so thankful for a month to end in my life. I am sorry for the delay in updates, I have been super busy this month shooting several sessions AND! My first wedding! I will be updating within the next few days all that I’ve been up to!

But I won’t leave you empty handed!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing baby b the week before last. He is one of my favorite clients to date! This little cutie was so much fun to work with because he is simply ALL SMILES! All it took to get him to grin was a little “BZZZZZZ” and we were good to go! Also, who could resist these baby blues??

Contest! 2007 Image of the Year!

Remember on my last post how I said that I had exciting things planned for 2008? Well, one of them is blog contests!

So, I have selected my favorite images from 2007. It was sooo hard to narrow them down, but I wanted to make it fairly easy for you all to decide, so I got it down to 15. So now it’s up to you!

VOTE! Vote for your favorite image from the images below. Winners will be the top 3 images with the most votes.

And! There will be PRIZES!

1st place: a 16×20 print of their image
2nd place: an 11×14 print of their image
3rd place: an 8×10 print of their image
